When you look into the mirror what do you see? A reflection of yourself.
When we look into the mirror, we see our appearances, emotions, weaknesses, strengths, our imperfections and flaws and all.
James 1:23-25 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it they will be blessed in what they do.
The mirror is a valuable tool to use. When you look into the mirror it gives us a perspective and help express our emotions. The mirror brings up and out strong hidden feeling, dissolve our egos that we do not want the world to see in us. We can learn a lot about ourselves by looking in the mirror.
Proverbs: 27:19 As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart.
We must learn to practice Mirror Meditation, by taking 5-10 mins out of our day, it can help us deal with what is in us. Mirror Meditation also help us to understand ourselves through our reflection it brings fourth a soft, calm, kinder and more self-acceptance within ourselves.
1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
